Living and Working in Eagle

Located on the northwest edge of Boise, Eagle is a growing community that maintains its rural charm. Nestled between the Boise River and the Boise Foothills, Eagle has much to offer in the way of municipal parks, unique restaurants, family-friendly neighborhoods, and excellent schools. St. Luke’s Eagle Medical Plaza opened in 2008 to serve this active community with urgent care and physician clinics.

This small town of approximately 20,000 residents is just minutes from downtown Boise, and is an ideal community for outdoor enthusiasts. You can fish the Boise River, golf at one of several courses, or mountain bike at one of the nation’s first bike parks, with more than 250 acres of trails and a BMX track. A short drive will take you to some of Idaho’s finest whitewater rafting and kayaking in the summer and fantastic skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Eagle’s charming, historic downtown is home to local restaurants and shops where you can find a great cup of coffee, as well as some world-class barbeque. This close-knit community has all of the benefits of a big city while holding on to its rural, country feel.
