St. Luke’s to launch paperless billing Oct. 1 to boost convenience and security

By Sandra Forester, Notes and Announcements
August 2, 2024

St. Luke’s Health System is excited to introduce paperless billing in St. Luke’s MyChart beginning Oct. 1, 2024.

Electronic billing will allow you to manage your bills and payments in the same convenient place you schedule health care visits and medications – and it’s more secure. It also will make understanding what you’ve paid and what is covered by insurance easier and show your recent payments and any refunds given.

All St. Luke’s patients will be automatically enrolled in electronic billing on Oct. 1, 2024.

  • You will not receive a paper statement via the mail for charges on that date and going forward.
  • You will be notified of new bills through email or text and the St. Luke’s MyChart app.
  • Those not enrolled in St. Luke’s MyChart will receive their statement and pay bills online as a guest but are encouraged to sign-up for St. Luke’s MyChart to experience the full range of benefits.
  • After Oct. 1, 2024, you can choose to receive paper bills and opt out of electronic billing at any time.

If you are not yet enrolled for St. Luke’s MyChart, please go to MyChart and sign up for an account at any time.

Should you have any questions regarding paperless billing, please view our frequently asked questions at stlukesonline.org/billingfaqs or contact our Patient Financial Services team at 208-706-5999 or 844-535-1293.
