Description

Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized program designed for kids ages 11-13. During this class, your child will learn how to have fun with children in their care, the stages of child development and appropriate activities, how to prevent problem behaviors, recognize a medical emergencies and how to take appropriate action, and learn the business side of babysitting.

Prerequisites

Safe Sitter® is a nationally recognized program designed for kids ages 11-14.

Registration is required and a full payment must be made at the time of registration. Please note that if there are less than 5 people enrolled in the class, the class may be cancelled. You will be notified before the class if this occurs. No refunds are given for this class, unless it is cancelled by us or a medical condition prevents you from attending class. Otherwise, you may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.

If multiple siblings will be attending the same class, please do not register online.  Please call St. Luke's Connect at (208) 381-9000 to pay only $20 for each additional sibling attending the same class.

If you are a St. Luke's employee, please do not register online. To get your employee discount, call St. Luke's Connect at (208) 381-9000 to register. No refunds will be issued if you continue to register online.

Registration Instructions

• Your child will NEED to bring a sack lunch, refillable water bottle, and snack for the afternoon. They will not have access to purchasing food within the facility. • Class registration is from 8:45-9 a.m. Please print off and fill out attached paperwork and consents to bring with your child. • Class starts promptly at 9 a.m. • Please arrive at 3:30 p.m. to attend your child's graduation ceremony and pick them up. Your child will not be allowed to leave the room until an adult arrives to the room to pick them up.
