The team at St. Luke's Clinic – Infectious Diseases specializes in the diagnosis and care of patients with complex infections including acute and chronic infectious conditions. Our practice is designed to meet the needs of patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. In the hospital, we deliver bedside consultation; and in clinic, we offer appointments by referral for complicated infections and long-term antibiotic infusion treatments.
We support patients needing care for post-surgical, bone/joint, skin, soft-tissue, bloodstream, and fungal infections. We also have extensive expertise managing conditions such as fevers of unknown origin, hepatitis B and C, endocarditis, sepsis, staphylococcus aureus (MRSA, MSSA), clostridium difficile (C. diff), and latent tuberculosis. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality and evidence-based care.
Please note: our team does not manage long-term COVID or post-COVID syndrome.
If you need urgent medical attention outside of our office hours, please go to an urgent care or nearby emergency room.
We diagnose and treat complicated infections of the skin, sinuses, brain, heart, lungs, urinary tract, bowel, pelvic organs, bones, joints, bloodstream and other body tissues caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.
We provide ongoing supervision of chronic conditions such as hepatitis B and C, can be managed through routine clinic visits and prescription therapy.
Our team collaborates to provide a comprehensive initial assessment and customized treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs. Then, we monitor lab work to assess treatment efficacy, tolerability and reduce risk of side effects.
We strive to protect the usage of antimicrobial medications by promoting optimal selection, dose, and duration of therapy through evidence-based prescribing, education, and oversight across multiple health care settings.
