We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions, including but not limited to, ankle sprains, sports injuries, foot issues due to diabetes complications, wound care, arthritis, bunions, flat feet, foot pain, heel pain and more. We also have fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeons that perform total ankle replacements and other complex surgical reconstructions.
Julie M. Johnson, MD specializes in the dynamic relationship between the feet and ankles, working to try to restore function so her patients can enjoy restored function and healthier, less painful feet. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, and a member of the Idaho Medical Association.
Dr. Johnson is originally from Reno where she enjoyed the outdoors, especially the Lake Tahoe area. She and her family are excited to live in Boise and to explore the Treasure Valley.
Steven E. Roser, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in care of the foot and ankle. He is one of the few surgeons in the region who performs primary and revision total ankle replacement as well as minimally invasive foot surgery. He is actively involved in product design for our next generation of surgical repairs.
Dr. Roser attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, completing his orthopedic residency at University of Arkansas and his fellowship at the Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders. His goal is to deliver state-of-the-art care for the foot and ankle, utilizing all conservative means necessary to limit surgery when possible.
In his free time, Dr. Roser enjoys photography, fly fishing, travel, hiking, hunting and reading.
