At St. Luke’s Clinic – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, our team specializes in spine pain, stroke recovery, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, spasticity management, musculoskeletal pain, and general rehabilitation. We also offer electromyography, independent medical exams, and impairment ratings.
Our focus is on developing a comprehensive program that will restore maximum function after injuries, illnesses, or other disabling conditions. We treat you as a person, not just your condition.

Rodde D. Cox, MD has professional interests in medical rehabilitation, rehabilitation of injured workers, and electrodiagnostic medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, cooking, and biking.

Kelly Heusinkveld, PA has experience in managing neuro-rehabilitation in both hospital and outpatient settings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Puget Sound and a master’s degree in physician assistant Studies from Idaho State University.
Vic Kadyan, MD is medical director for St. Luke’s Specialty Care Services, and provides medical services at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital and St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center. He has professional interests in neuro-rehabilitation, spasticity, and electrodiagnostic medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Kadyan enjoys spending time with his family in outdoor activities like cycling, backpacking, and hiking.

Michael R. McMartin, MD provides periodic inpatient care for patients during a stay at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital and St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center.
Erika Schiller, PA-C, MS, RDN cares deeply for her patients and works to be a kind and trustworthy provider. Prior to her work as a physician's assistant, she worked for three years as an inpatient registered dietitian at St. Luke's.
Erika earned her bachelor's degree in dietetics from Kansas State University, a master's degree in nutrition from Oklahoma State University, and another master's degree in physician assistant studies from Yale University. In her free time, she enjoys running the Boise trails, trying out new restaurants, and skiing.
Lynn Shenk, DO, FAAPMR is a dedicated and community-oriented neuro rehabilitation specialist, compassionate about continuity of care and focusing on recovery following devastating injury and illness. She enjoys evaluating complex medical cases and providing services to improve function and quality of life.
Dr. Shenk treats traumatic brain injuries (mild, moderate, severe, and disorders of consciousness); non-traumatic brain injuries (stroke, brain tumors, MS); spasticity; spinal cord injuries; movement disorders; amputees; cerebral palsy; gait abnormalities; balance dysfunction; neurodegenerative disorders; and muscular dystrophies.
In her free time, Dr. Shenk enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and paddling.
Nathan Truex, MD provides medical services at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center as well as the Spine Clinic at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center. He has professional interests in neuro-rehabilitation, sports medicine, and electrodiagnostic medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Truex enjoys spending time with his family pursuing outdoor activities such as skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking.
