If you live in the McCall area, our emergency department gives you fast, expert care, close to home. Our emergency staff is available 24/7 and includes board certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses certified in trauma, emergency pediatrics, and advanced cardiac life support. We have five beds—including a Level IV trauma unit—and the latest in emergency services technology and equipment. When needed, two-way cameras and remote virtual care equipment can bring St. Luke’s specialists right to your bedside – even from miles away.
On-site services include CT scans, ultrasound, lab, and EKG. If you require hospital admission, we’ll transfer you to the most appropriate hospital for your specific needs. We work closely with both St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus hospitals in Boise.
St. Luke’s works in close partnership with the EMS units in McCall, Donnelly, New Meadows, Cascade, Council, and Riggins to continually improve the quality of and access to emergency services for people in Valley, Adams, and Idaho counties.
As a member of the National Health Services Corps (NHSC), we promise to serve all patients. This means:
St. Luke's McCall and Wood River are Level IV Trauma centers as designated by the Idaho State Time Sensitive Emergencies Council.
The St. Luke’s McCall Medical Center expansion will provide more space and advanced facilities to ensure we can continue to provide the high-quality, convenient care the people of our growing community deserve.
Designed to promote safety, efficiency and a healing environment, the hospital will feature a new trauma bay, triage area and additional exam rooms in the Emergency Department, modern operating suites and expanded pre- and post-operative areas, expanded lab and imaging space to accommodate advanced equipment and patient privacy, dedicated space for local and visiting specialists, advanced telehealth capability and more.
