About St. Luke's Canyon View Behavioral Health Services: Twin Falls
St. Luke’s Canyon View provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults 18 and older, including those with complex medical or social needs. We treat a wide range of serious mental health conditions, including mood, psychotic, personality, substance use, and neuropsychiatric disorders. All admissions follow Idaho and federal statutes.
Care begins with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation that considers each patient’s medical, therapeutic, and psychosocial needs. Our treatment approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, and may include medication management, individual and group therapy, and therapeutic community (milieu) support.
Our focus is on acute stabilization, helping patients return to their lives as safely and quickly as possible. When appropriate and with the patient’s consent, we involve family members or support systems in the treatment process to enhance recovery and continuity of care.
Length of stay varies based on the severity of symptoms and progress toward treatment goals, with an average stay of four days. Throughout the stay, our team works closely with patients and social workers to create a personalized aftercare plan for continued support after discharge.
Most insurance plans cover all or part of the cost of care. We encourage patients to check with their insurance provider, and financial assistance may be available.
