Grace C. Adamson, MD

Grace Adamson, MD, JD is a former attorney who practiced law for eleven years before pursuing her calling in a career in medicine. She is passionate about helping patients with serious illness and their families navigate complex decision-making and improve their quality of life by addressing the physical, social, and spiritual aspects of their care. She has a particular interest in palliative medicine for oncology patients, the management of cancer-related pain, advance care planning, and ethical issues surrounding health care surrogate decision making.

During medical school, Dr. Adamson was among a small percentage of her medical school peers inducted into The Arnold P. Gold Foundation's Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society for her demonstration of excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service.

In her free time, Dr. Adamson enjoys running, biking, skiing, camping, and exploring the Boise foothills and beyond with her family and beloved family dog.
