She earned her associate's degree in nursing from Treasure Valley Community College, a bachelor's degree in nursing from Boise State University, as well as a master's degree in nursing, family nurse practitioner.

In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time outdoors exploring nature with her husband and their adult children.
