About Megan K. Bohlen, LCPC
Megan Bohlen, LCPC is a compassionate, open-minded therapist who believes personal healing and growth begin by experiencing unconditional positive regard, acceptance and understanding. Megan is passionate about cultivating therapeutic relationships by providing a warm, safe, and respectful environment that allows an individual the space to explore innermost thoughts and feelings.
Megan has a well-rounded approach to mental health treatment, utilizing a strengths-based and client-centered approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
Megan has experience working with individuals of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds seeking support with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, life transitions, and perinatal/postpartum depression and anxiety.
Originally from Idaho, Megan earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Boise State University and a master's in counseling degree from Idaho State University. She spends her free time with her husband and two young daughters, and enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and tapping into her creative side whenever possible.
