Kimbra L. Cardwell, NP

Kimbra Cardwell, NP has decades of experience serving oncology patients and views oncology as a calling, not just a career. She has worked in both academic and community practice oncology settings, and has extensive experience in both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. She feels that the most important part of an oncology practitioner's job is to create a sense of stability and calm in the midst of fear and uncertainty. Kimbra enjoys the complexity and challenges of oncology, and is thrilled to see the many advances that have been made in cancer care during her career.

Kimbra began her career in health care as an active duty nurse in the U.S. Air Force, and then spent many years working as a nurse and nurse practitioner at the Siteman Cancer Center and Washington University School of Medicine.

Originally from Missouri, Kimbra loves living in the Treasure Valley. During her free time, she enjoys entertaining, gardening, camping, shooting, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.
