About Jessica A. Evert, MD
Jessica A. Evert, MD specializes in the care of hospitalized adults. She is passionate about research, quality improvement, education, health equity, social determinants of health, and critical care. She earned the UCSF Family Health Center Award of Excellence for her approach to team work and multi-disciplinary practice and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health Christopher Krogh Award for dedication to underserved patients at home and abroad.
Dr. Evert is a leader in global health, community-based engagement, and asset-based community development, and serves as the executive director of Child Family Health International. She provides educational programming for medical, health professions students, and residents.

What is a Hospitalist?
Hospitalists are doctors who specialize in caring for adults during a hospital stay. At St. Luke’s, our hospitalists are board-certified and specially trained to manage complex medical conditions and make accurate diagnoses.
Our hospitalist team also includes skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants who help with care delivery, teaching, and care coordination.
