About Charles M. Forsythe, MD
Charles 'Charlie' Forsythe, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician and hospitalist.
Dr. Forsythe grew up in Boise and graduated from Boise High School. Prior to his medical education, he earned two degrees in exercise science, his bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and his master's from the University of Texas at Austin.
In his free time, Dr. Forsythe enjoys exploring the West and reading books about western United States topics. He seeks out podcasts and literature related to medicine, history, and current events. In addition, he volunteers as a physician at Genesis Community Health clinic and is looking forward to additional opportunities to serve the community.

Hospitalists are doctors who specialize in caring for adults during a hospital stay. At St. Luke’s, our hospitalists are board-certified and specially trained to manage complex medical conditions and make accurate diagnoses.
Our hospitalist team also includes skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants who help with care delivery, teaching, and care coordination.
