  • This was one of the most unprofessional medical experiences I’ve had. After waiting six months and being rescheduled multiple times, I showed up for a VA Community Care referral appointment that never should have happened in the first place. The referral (from the VA) was written incorrectly—but this provider’s office had months to catch that and communicate. Instead, they let me wait half a year just to show up and be treated like a burden. Before the appointment even started, I was told I might be billed and that they don’t treat veterans or servicemembers. That alone should have been communicated long before I walked through the door. The doctor and RN were openly dismissive and aggressively discouraging. I was made to feel like I was wasting their time. The doctor stated—with clear frustration—that he prioritizes cancer patients and that I was not someone he would make time for. He went on to say it would likely take 9–12 months to be seen (if I wasn’t bumped for “more important” cases), and even then downplayed the quality of care he would provide. There were multiple comments that made it clear they had no intention of taking me as a patient. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and honestly concerned about the level of care I would receive if I proceeded. If this provider does not want to work with VA Community Care patients, that needs to be clearly communicated upfront—not after six months of waiting. Veterans should not be referred here.

  • --I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gerety and Lyndsey. They were absolutely amazing, but I especially want to highlight Lyndsey and the level of care she provided. While dealing with a very unfortunate situation, Lyndsey stepped up in a way that I will never forget. She was incredibly compassionate, attentive, and professional. She made me feel supported, heard, and genuinely cared for through every step of the process. Her kindness and the way she handled everything brought so much comfort during a really difficult time. Lyndsey went above and beyond, and I am truly grateful for all she did. It’s rare to find someone who not only excels in their role but also brings such heart into their work. Thank you, Lyndsey, for your exceptional care—and thank you, Dr. Gerety, for having such an amazing team. I am forever grateful.

  • Great at what he does. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I could do a better job about asking questions regarding treatment, alternatives, risks, plan changes
