I discussed some concerns with stillbirth prevention measures not currently in practice and he told me that stillbirth is rare, which is not true. The definition of rare is 1 in 1,000. Stillbirth occurs in 1 out of 169 pregnancies. Maybe uncommon but not rare. And I feel strongly that someone in the profession in Idaho needs to get passionate about creating changes that will end preventable stillbirth, but I am afraid it doesn't seem like a task he is interested in.
