Had two appointments with him after my primary moved away. Was not impressed at either visit. He didn’t listen or seem to take an interest in what my concern was and ran me out the door. Thought i’d give him a 2nd chance because maybe he was having a bad day. Nope. Fairly unprofessional the 2nd time around as well. I was pretty disgusted at St.Lukes for this. I expect better. Hooste won’t get a 3rd chance.

Dr Hooste is one of the best doctors around. He listens, very informative. When he speaks he speaks with you. I am very comfortable with him as my primary. He is one of a kind. Took care of everything I need and willing to see me at anytime. Could not ask for a better Doctor. His staff is fantastic. His nurse is one of the best. She actually puts your concerns as a priority. Overall the best office!!!

A few years ago,I went in to see Dr. Hooste. I told him I wanted blood work done and my insurance paid for 2 blood work tests a year. I explained that I had a history of diabetes in my family on my mother’s side. I explained to him I had been experiencing some episodes where I had been in a fog and messed up things at work, which never happens. He prescribed me sleeping pills and told me all I needed was more sleep. About six months later I went in for a surgery. The surgeon told me they almost weren’t going to operate on me because my blood sugar was so high, they almost couldn’t. Instead of giving me blood tests like I asked he shrugged me off. Would never recommend.
