About Kaitlin Hornick, DPT
Kaitlin Hornick, DPT has a passion for knee, hip, and complex spinal conditions. She has a special interest in movement pattern analysis and incorporates it into her evaluation and treatments to help patients learn more functional and pain-free ways to move both in daily life and during sport/higher-level recreational activities.
Kaitlin’s interest in outpatient orthopedics stems from her experience as an athlete, having had both acute trauma and overuse injuries. She generally uses multimodal techniques for treatment, including a combination of manual therapy; therapeutic interventions and retraining abnormal movement patterns, which occur after injury, trauma, or surgical interventions. Kaitlin has a unique history in wound care and is certified as a Schroth Therapist (ISST) to better treat and manage patients who have underlying scoliosis and other complex spinal conditions, and assist with reducing the progression of curvatures in children and adolescents as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Kaitlin earned her doctorate in physical therapy from St. Louis University. Outside of work, you can find her on long-distance backpacking trips, working cattle/ranching, and country swing dancing around the Treasure Valley.
