Robert C. Humble, MD

Robert C. Humble, MD, provides obstetric and gynecology services with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery. He has clinical expertise in the management of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, vaginal prolapse, irregular bleeding, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain. He feels the most gratifying part of his work is the ability to help those who need it most. The concept of providing world-class care and exceeding his patients' expectations is at the heart of his practice.

Dr. Humble chose the OB/GYN field because of its continuity of care, surgical experience, and, of course, delivering babies. He believes that patients should play an integral role in decisions regarding their medical care, and that patients need to understand their options and be able to make informed decisions.

Dr. Humble has earned the ABOG Focused Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), and is one of the few surgeons in Idaho with this recognition. He has performed more than 600 surgeries using the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System.

Dr. Humble was raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and prior to his medical education, earned his bachelor's degree in biology at Rhodes College. He and his family enjoy the outdoors, including hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and fishing.
