Lydia M. Moor, NP

Lydia Moor, NP cares for patients during their hospital stays. 

Before joining the hospitalist team, Lydia worked in general cardiology, caring for patients in both the hospital and clinic settings. She helped manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, bradycardias, pericarditis, hyperlipidemia, and angina. Her procedural expertise involves supporting patients after stent placements, and assisting with stress tests. She also has special interest in lipidology.

Lydia appreciates the opportunity to build relationships her patients and learn what's important to them. This allows her to tailor her approach to helping patients understand their conditions, care options and care plan, as well as empowering them to improve their health and quality of life.

Lydia earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at Idaho State University, and a doctorate of nursing practice in adult-gerontology acute care at University of Arizona. Originally from Idaho Falls, Lydia spent ten years in Arizona as an RN before returning to Idaho. Prior to joining St. Luke's, she studied cardiology at Portneuf Medical Center. 

Outside of work, Lydia loves to sing and enjoys karaoke and musical theater. She is learning guitar and piano, loves hiking with her two dogs, and has learned to ski since returning Idaho.
