Jonathan D. Myers, MD

Jonathan D. Myers, MD is a board-certified physiatrist (a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation), with expertise in a variety of neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions, and is currently the medical director of rehabilitation services for St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center. He cares for outpatients in the clinic setting and for inpatients at the Gwen Neilsen Anderson Rehabilitation Center at St. Luke's Magic Valley.

His areas of clinical interest and expertise include spasticity management, spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, working with amputation and limb deficiencies, and cerebral palsy and other movement disorders. Dr. Myers is himself a spinal cord injury survivor and uses his personal experience to better relate to his patients.

In August 2016, Dr. Myers and a group of St. Luke's Rehabilitation colleagues climbed Mount Borah to raise awareness regarding balance rehabilitation and raise the funding necessary to bring a balance machine to the Magic Valley.
