I was nervous for this appointment for a couple reasons. I had originally requested a female doctor but ended up with a male, and that made me nervous from how male doctors have treated me in the past. I was also nervous because I'm a big woman and seeing a cardiologist made me worried I wouldn't be listened to by the doctor and that they would ultimately make all my issues associated with my weight. I was very surprised with my doctor. He came in and had very warm friendly vibes. He asked questions and never once tried to dismiss my symptoms or talk about my weight being the primary focus of those issues. He had a game plan right away and explained everything through. He gave me good expectations on how far out some of my tests would be and why some of them had to happen first thing in the morning. I feel confident that he will find answers for what's going on with me and that he will work hard to achieve that. I was impressed and will gladly continue seeing him as well as recommend him.
