About Hayley N. Schank, NP
Hayley Schank, FNP-C is committed to creating a comfortable environment for both children and families, particularly during times of illness or stress. She provides safe, evidence-based care while incorporating each family’s values and beliefs into the treatment plan. Her professional interests include improving family-centered care in NICU patients, and she has conducted research on safely discharging preterm infants home with nasogastric feeding tubes to promote family bonding and reduce hospital stays. She has also been active in community outreach for drug-exposed infants, policy improvement, and nursing education.
Hayley earned her master's degree in nursing from Northwest Nazarene University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 12 years as a neonatal intensive care nurse, developing a deep passion for caring for pediatric patients—especially infants—and supporting new parents. Since graduation she has been caring for pediatric patients in the urgent care setting.
Dedicated to serving both international and underserved communities, Hayley has participated in medical missions to Peru and Tanzania. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her children at hockey and Jiu Jitsu, as well as hiking, camping, skiing, paddle boarding, and spending time with her Bernedoodle.
