About Amanda G. Sessions, DO
Amanda Grace Sessions, DO is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment. She is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients of all ages, focusing on promoting overall wellness and using evidence-based medicine to address the unique health needs of each patient. She has a broad scope of practice with particular interests in preventive care, chronic disease management (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, depression/anxiety, etc.), health education and counseling, coordination of care, integrative medicine and women's health.
Dr. Sessions also provides services that includes annual physical exams including well woman exams/pap smears and school/spots physicals, osteopathic manipulation, smoking cessation support, and treatment of acute illness. She performs minor in-clinic procedures such as skin biopsies, lesion removal, cryotherapy, joint injections, contraceptive IUD/implant placement and removal, laceration repair, and incision and drainage.
During her residency training, Dr. Sessions completed an integrative medicine residency online course affiliated with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. She is originally from Colorado where she attended high school and played basketball for Colorado College. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, cooking, music, movies, and spending time with her family.
