Brenna M. Shackelford, MD

Brenna Shackelford, MD has enjoyed being a part of medical education, wilderness medicine, international work, and in providing support for humanitarian missions throughout both Air Force and civilian careers. She has followed her passion and pursued training in hospice and palliative care, and now works full-time as a palliative physician.

During her time in the Air Force, Dr. Shackelford completed a joint Air Force-Army emergency medicine residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC), followed by four years service as an emergency physician and critical care air transport team physician.
