Shani K. Smith, DO, MBA received her bachelor's degree from Xavier University prior to her medical education, and her master's in business administration degree with a concentration in health and medical services at St. Joseph's University.
During her residency in emergency medicine and internal medicine, she also completed the Training in Policy Studies Fellowship (TIPS) affiliated with New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with a focus on health care policy.
