Dr. Steffens was personable, did not dismiss or belittle my presentation of my concerns and understandng of my purpose for referral. He acknowledged my background knowledge by not speaking down to me and explaining procedures and disgnostic indicators in ""talking down"" fashion, explained professionally when I requested clarification. His good humor was much appreciated in what, for me, was a challenging situation.
