Arvind H. Vaz, MD

Arvind Vaz, MD provides personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate care that promotes the wellness and growth of children, adolescents, and families. He has experience caring for patients in all stages of life and development, and specializes in treating children, adolescents, and families with a variety of conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, thought disorders, and disruptive behaviors. He takes special interest in the early stages of development and the transition to adulthood.

Dr. Vaz received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University. After completing his medical training, Dr. Vaz worked as an attending and medical director on a child and adolescent inpatient unit at a private hospital outside Nashville. He now proudly calls Boise home with his wife, also a physician at St. Luke's.
