Description

Learn how to strengthen your partnership, increase intimacy, and regulate conflict with the Bringing Baby Home On-Demand Parents Workshop.

This research-based and tested program will help you and your partner enhance your relationship satisfaction while bringing a new baby into your lives.

You’ll learn about child development, sensitive and responsive parenting tactics, how to coordinate with family members, and discover ways to keep each parent involved.

What you will learn:

  • Strengthen partnership for your baby’s developmental foundation.
  • Enhance relationship satisfaction in early parenting phases.
  • Learn sensitive, responsive parenting tactics.
  • Coordinate effectively with family members for support.
  • Maintain both parents’ active involvement with baby.

This class is for expectant parents or parents with children under 3 years of age.

Prerequisites

This class is for expectant parents or parents with children under 3 years of age.

 

Registration Instructions

Registration includes two attendees. Included with your class fee, you will receive one Bringing Baby Home parent workbook.

Registration is required and a full payment must be made at the time of registration. Please note that if there are less than 5 people enrolled in the class, the class may be cancelled. You will be notified before the class if this occurs. No refunds are given for this class, unless it is cancelled by us or a medical condition prevents you from attending class. Otherwise, you may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.

If you are a St. Luke’s employee, please do not register online. St. Luke’s Employees NOT need to call St. Luke’s Connect at (208) 381-9000 to register to receive the employee discount.

No refunds will be issued if you continue to register online. To learn more about the Path Through Parenthood program, search “Parental Resources” in the HR Service Center Portal.

Participants, guests and facilitators are asked to use hand sanitizer when entering the classroom and after returning from break. Food and beverages will not be provided. Personal snacks and drinks may brought and enjoyed on breaks.

 

Special Instructions

The information provided in our Birth and Parenting classes is designed for general educational purposes only. This class is conducted at St. Luke’s Plaza.

This class is conducted at the St. Luke’s Plaza in the Central Plaza Auditorium

You will enter the St. Luke’s Central Plaza building at 720 E. Park Blvd. by parking in the visitor lot on either side of the fountain. The main entrance is closest to the fountain and flagpole. Upon entering the building you and whoever attends class with you will need to show a photo ID for entrance to the facility. You will then proceed to the first hallway on the left, which will lead you to the Central Plaza Auditorium.
