Doctors and nurses have some of the most visible roles in health care.
But behind the scenes, health care is supported by many people in many roles. With that in mind, St. Luke’s recently teamed up with Idaho LAUNCH and Idaho Public Television to create Idaho Jobs Explained, a brief and engaging video series that highlights in-demand careers across Idaho.
Idaho Jobs Explained is designed for students, parents or educators to help explore real careers by showcasing the people and roles that keep industries running every day. Career exploration often begins as early as middle school, which is why Idaho Launch and the Idaho Workforce Development Council are sharing the series with school career counselors across the state.
Viewers of the series will see a wide range of opportunities to make a difference. From hands-on roles to innovative and emerging fields, health care careers continue to grow and evolve in our growing state, creating meaningful impact for both individuals and communities.
The paths into health care are numerous, with many ways to get started. Clinical, technical, operational or leadership roles are all part of the structure that cares for the patients and the communities we serve.
From students to those looking for a career change, all can check out Idaho Jobs Explained to help discover the many career possibilities within health care.
