Infusion Services
Making Infusions Accessible and Comfortable
St. Luke's provides non-oncology, outpatient infusion services in a hospital-based, patient-centered environment. Services include patient education, therapeutic phlebotomy, intravenous infusions, central line care, blood and blood product transfusion, and injections.
Our specially trained infusion nurses work closely with your healthcare providers and insurance to secure authorization, then partner with our dedicated team to schedule your appointment at one of our eight convenient infusion sites.
Before your visit, our pharmacy medication access team carefully reviews your order to check for any available financial assistance programs. If you're eligible, they’ll reach out to walk you through your options and help you feel confident and prepared.

We are committed to exceptional quality, safety, and care through every step of your infusion.
Preparing for Your Infusion Appointment
Infusion treatments can take several hours, so it’s a good idea to ask your doctor how long yours might last. To help you feel your best during the visit, try to stay well-hydrated beforehand if possible. And be sure to wear comfortable clothing—especially something with easy access to your arms if you’ll be getting an IV.
For your treatment, please remember to bring:
- A photo ID or driver’s license
- Your insurance cards
- A current list of your medications
To help make your visit more comfortable, consider bringing:
- Your phone or tablet, along with headphones for entertainment or relaxation
- Snacks (some locations also offer food options)
- A cozy blanket and pillow to help you feel at home
- Something to pass the time—like a book, crossword puzzles, knitting, or your favorite magazine
