Stroke Rehabilitation
Rebuilding Strength and Restoring Independence
At St. Luke’s Rehabilitation, our goal is to help you regain what you’ve lost after a stroke—whether that’s movement, speech, or cognitive function. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be supported by a team of specialists who understand the complexities of stroke recovery. Your care will be guided by a physiatrist, a physician who specializes in rehabilitation medicine, and may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, dietitians, nursing case managers, and other healthcare professionals based on your individual needs.
Your time in the hospital is designed to reflect a typical day, helping you transition more smoothly back to everyday life. You’ll participate in exercises, engage in conversations and memory activities, and even prepare meals in our therapy kitchen. Throughout your stay, you and your loved ones will be active participants in your treatment plan. And when it’s time to return home, we’ll work closely with you and your support system to ensure you feel confident and prepared for the next step in your recovery.

Our expert team works closely with you and your loved ones to create a care plan that supports your goals, both in the hospital and at home.
