About Lisa M. Barker

Biography

Lisa M. Barker, MD, FAAP enjoys the teamwork of pediatrics and the challenge of working with children of all ages, infants through adolescents. She believes in caring for her patients and their families in a thoughtful and personalized manner, partnering with parents to determine how to best care for their children.  

Dr. Barker has special interests in providing education to medical students and engaging in legislative advocacy on behalf of children.  

Outside the office, Dr. Barker enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, and two spunky family dogs. Originally from Boise, she loves spending time outdoors exploring beautiful Idaho. She also enjoys personal fitness, crafting, reading, and traveling.
