Physical Therapist
Renee Hawkins, PT, MSPT, NCS specializes in adult neurological rehabilitation. She has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient neuro, inpatient acute rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, home health, and acute hospital. She treats a variety of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic or acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and post-polio. In addition, she treats patients with symptoms post-COVID.
Renee is LSVT BIG® certified. She had been trained in NDT and Neuro-IFRAH®. She has training in the use of Bioness®, and body weight supported treadmill training.
Renee earned her bachelor's degree from the College of Idaho and her master's degree in physical therapy at the University of Southern California. She is a board certified neurological clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. She currently serves as the chief delegate for the Idaho chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.
In her free time, Renee enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, backpacking, and spending time with her family.
