Physical Therapist
Shanna Herman, PT, DPT specializes in equipment needs, including custom wheelchairs and early mobility through the Go-Baby-Go program. She has expertise in serial casting and splinting to help improve orthopedic conditions as a result of spasticity or impaired tone. Shanna also frequently works with patients needing post-acute neurologic rehabilitation after a traumatic brain injury or concussion, often using state-of-the-art bodyweight supportive equipment for balance re-education and/or gait training. She supports patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
In her free time, Shanna volunteers with the Challenged Athletes Foundation. She loves empowering people with physical challenges to participate in and enjoy physical activity with their peers and families.
Shanna earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Lewis Clark State College, and her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of the Pacific. Originally from Idaho, she enjoys hiking, camping, and golfing.
