About Tiffani A. Hunter
Biography
Tiffani Hunter PA-C is a physician assistant specializing in medical oncology. Cancer can impact many parts of a patient’s life and it is important to be able to recognize the intersection of those areas. Tiffani works to go beyond the medicine itself to make sure the patient has full understanding and is supported outside of the appointment.
Prior to joining St. Luke's, Tiffani provided primary care to houseless and uninsured patients with an emphasis in hepatitis C treatment. She loved working with this population and providing access to health care for a variety of patients without any other options. She has also provided primary care, focusing on gender care and HIV. Before becoming a physician assistant, Tiffani did clinical research with Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center in New York, and has also worked as a certified nursing assistant in oncology.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, cycling, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
