About Kara S. Lilya
Biography
Kara S. Lilya, MSN, APRN, NP-C is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her professional interests include pediatric trauma, gastrostomy tube care, and NICU surgical patients. Kara strives to treat patients with a holistic approach to care and involving family members with each decision. She enjoys spending time with families, understanding their concerns, and tailoring medical plans to their specific needs.
Kara earned her bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University and her master’s degree from Gonzaga University, graduating with high honors. She completed training as a surgical first assist through the National Institute of First Assisting. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Kara worked as a registered nurse for 16 years in the newborn intensive care unit and pediatric unit.
Kara enjoys spending time with her family traveling, skiing, and biking. She also loves reading.
