About David B. Verst
Biography
David Verst, MD is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, serving both the Sun Valley and Twin Falls areas. He is the founder of Verst Spine Care and maintains his allegiance to providing personalized individual spine care. He is among the first surgeons in Idaho to utilize robotic assistance in surgery. In an effort to provide safe and accurate outcomes for his patients, Dr. Verst has partnered with Mazor Robotics and incorporated the Renaissance Guidance System in his practice.
Dr. Verst received his medical degree from University of Louisville School of Medicine before moving on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery. Following his residency, he completed a spine fellowship at San Francisco Spine Institute focusing on complex spinal diseases affecting the nervous system.
Dr. Verst is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Medical Association. He has also served as chairman of orthopedic surgery at St. Luke's Wood River. Dr. Verst has published several articles in peer review journals that relate to spine care.
