Pre-Placement Physical Evaluations

Hiring an employee that is not able to handle the physical aspects of the job can drive up the cost of doing business. A pre-placement physical evaluation will help determine if a job applicant is physically qualified to perform the tasks of a specific job, either with or without accommodations.

Pre-placement Evaluation Components

  • An examination focused on job demands and work environment.
  • A comprehensive occupational health history obtained and reviewed by a health care provider.
  • Determination of medical contraindications for placement in the position offered.
  • Recommendation for work restrictions, when indicated.
  • Pre-placement medical clearance status form sent to the appropriate company contact.
