St. Luke’s Clinic – Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine features a multidisciplinary team of medical providers, nurses, registered dietitians and social workers who deliver specialized care tailored to the physical, emotional, mental and sexual health needs of adolescent and young adult patients ages 12-25. Our clinic is also an appropriate place to address concerns and questions about puberty and gender issues.

Andrea Prasch, MD worked in general pediatrics for seven years at St. Luke's before joining the Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Clinic, allowing her to follow her passion to serve the unique healthcare needs of this population. Her professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders and mental health issues. She deeply believes that these conditions are very treatable, if not curable, when a personalized and team-based approach is used.
Prior to her medical education, Dr. Prasch earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Rocky Mountain College in her hometown of Billings, Montana. In her free time, she enjoys mindfulness, meditation, reading, yoga, organizing, playing with plants, and spending time with her husband, children, and their dog.
Kristyn Schelhaas, DO has special interests in gynecologic procedures, management of eating disorders, and improving mental health.
Dr. Schelhass is originally from Idaho, having grown up in Twin Falls. Prior to her medical education, she earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the College of Idaho. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially to Hawaii), playing and watching sports, reading, the outdoors, making charcuterie boards, and cooking.
Emma Wade, LCSW is a mental health therapist working with children, adolescents and their families. She enjoys partnering with individuals and families to navigate life’s stressors and create lasting positive change. Emma specializes in working with a range of concerns including mood disorders, behavioral problems, anxiety, and chronic illness. She utilizes cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused and mindfulness-based therapy techniques.
Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colorado College and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Montana. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling, crafting and reading mystery novels.
