If you need urgent medical attention outside of our office hours, please go directly to the nearest emergency department or call 911. If you need urgent support for a mental health crisis, please use 988 to call or text the Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline.
Weekend hours are available by appointment at our Celebration Ave location in Meridian. One of our physicians will always be on call. If you need to inquire about your child's illness or injury when our office is closed, please call (208) 345-0715 and follow the prompts to leave a message for a triage nurse. In most cases, we will be able to respond to your call within 2 hours. If the physician needs to be involved, the triage nurse will contact him or her for you. Please limit your calls to urgent problems that cannot wait until office hours. We recommend that you take your child to the emergency room for emergencies only.
Sara Aney, MD, MPH is board-certified in both family medicine and preventive medicine and cares for patients of all ages. She enjoys partnering with patients and families to help implement lifestyle-based interventions for the prevention, treatment, and reversal of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, depression/anxiety, and overweight/obesity.
Dr. Aney also provides annual physical exams, immunization and travel counseling, smoking cessation support, and treatment of acute illnesses. She performs minor procedures, including skin biopsies/cryotherapy and contraceptive IUD/implant placement.
Raised in Idaho, Dr. Aney loves being outdoors (especially biking along the Greenbelt), cooking plant-based cuisine, and spending time with her family.
Jordan Aney, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician who provides care for children from birth through adolescence.
Dr. Aney believes in partnering with families to optimize the health and development of children. He especially enjoys helping first-time parents learn to care for their newborns, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and navigating the challenges of chronic illnesses. His special interest in asthma and allergies stems from his personal experience with severe childhood asthma.
Originally from Oregon, Dr. Aney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Willamette University. Between undergraduate and medical school, he engaged in a research apprenticeship at the National Institutes of Health. He completed medical school and pediatric residency training at Loma Linda University, where he subsequently instructed residents and students as an assistant professor of pediatrics. He values his experiences serving on a multidisciplinary team to care for children at risk for developmental delays and staffing a medical therapy unit for children with complex medical needs.
In his free time, Dr. Aney enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, being active outdoors, and experimenting with plant-based recipes.
Seth Branahl, MD strives to provide a safe environment of inclusion and affirmation for all patients and families, including LGBTQIA+ patients and parents. He makes every effort to provide patient-centered care that recognizes the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Originally from Boise, Dr. Branahl loves the Idaho outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Kaitlin Burke, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician who enjoys managing a wide variety of pediatric conditions in children from birth to 18 years. Her particular interests include preventative medicine, helping children and families with complex or special medical needs, vaccine advocacy, and adolescent care, including oral contraceptive advice.
Dr. Burke currently serves as the pediatric medical director for the St. Luke’s Clinic - Family Medicine and Pediatrics. She is accepting newborns and new patients on a limited basis.
Dr. Burke grew up in Idaho. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound before completing medical school at the University of Washington. She completed her residency at the University of New Mexico and returned to Idaho to practice medicine.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Burke enjoys yoga, skiing, traveling and spending time with her family and her dog.
April Figueroa, NP is a board certified nurse practitioner with a special interest in pediatrics. She earned her master’s degree in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from the University of New Mexico. She earned her doctorate of nursing practice with a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner focus from Brandman University.
Monica Lawler, MD is board certified in family medicine and cares for patients of all ages. She offers a wide scope of services with a particular interest in chronic disease management, office-based procedures, and women's health.

Prior to joining St. Luke's, Dr. Lawler served as chief resident at Carolinas Health Care System (Atrium Health) during her residency training. Originally from Idaho, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Alli McFarlane, LCSW works with children, teens, and adults providing short-term treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, social/behavioral concerns, and adjustment/stress reactions. She is part of the collaborative care model and works closely with physicians. Alli regularly utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and supportive counseling. She takes a warm and straightforward person-centered approach with her clients and enjoys providing an empathetic, open space.
Alli earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Boise State University and her master's degree in social work from Northwest Nazarene University. In her free time, Alli enjoys being with her husband, two children and their dog, reading, being outside, and taking care of her plants.
Amanda Grace Sessions, DO is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment. She is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients of all ages, focusing on promoting overall wellness and using evidence-based medicine to address the unique health needs of each patient. She has a broad scope of practice with particular interests in preventive care, chronic disease management (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, depression/anxiety, etc.), health education and counseling, coordination of care, integrative medicine and women’s health.
Dr. Sessions also provides services that includes annual physical exams including well woman exams/pap smears and school/spots physicals, osteopathic manipulation, smoking cessation support, and treatment of acute illness. She performs minor in-clinic procedures such as skin biopsies, lesion removal, cryotherapy, joint injections, contraceptive IUD/implant placement and removal, laceration repair, and incision and drainage.
During her residency training, Dr. Sessions completed an integrative medicine residency online course affiliated with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. She is originally from Colorado where she attended high school and played basketball for Colorado College. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, cooking, music, movies, and spending time with her family.
Travis Worwood, PA-C provides team-based care, and is often available to see patients for same-day or acute visits. He is also available for routine follow-up appointments. Travis works closely with physicians to provide quality, timely care for his patients.
Travis worked as a social worker and therapist for more than ten years prior to working as a PA. Travis has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, or insomnia. He has an interest in the prevention of disease through healthy habits and recognizing the impact of environment on health, including the impact of race and socioeconomic status.
Travis has degrees from Utah State University, Boise State University, and Idaho State University. As a social worker, he had extra training working with schools, treating mental health conditions, and supervising other social workers. He is passionate about exploring Idaho, reading, cycling, camping and being involved in the community.
