Pituitary Program
Collaborative Treatment for Better Outcomes
At St. Luke’s, our Pituitary Program brings together a team of specialists dedicated to diagnosing and treating complex pituitary disorders. With expertise from neurosurgery, endocrinology, and otolaryngology, we take a collaborative approach to care—tailoring the latest medical and surgical treatments to each patient’s unique needs. Our team is highly experienced in minimally invasive endoscopic techniques, often performed through the nose, to safely remove even large or complex tumors.
We offer advanced diagnostic tools, including dynamic MRI imaging and neuro-ophthalmological testing, to ensure precise evaluation and treatment planning. And because your best outcome is our top priority, we coordinate closely with your primary care provider, endocrinologist, and the experts at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute. Through our Central Nervous System Tumor Board, a multidisciplinary team, including specialists in oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, and rehabilitation, works together to guide your care and support your recovery.
What to Expect
Our streamlined evaluation process begins with a neurosurgery consultation, followed by coordinated outpatient visits with endocrinology and ENT specialists. This team-based approach ensures you get the right care, quickly and efficiently. One common symptom of a pituitary disorder is vision loss, which can occur when a tumor presses on the optic nerve.
If you're experiencing changes in your vision, please talk to your primary care provider about a referral.
