Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus

Early Diagnosis, Expert Treatment

Normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) is a treatable condition that can mimic other forms of dementia, often causing difficulty walking, memory loss and bladder control issues. Because early and accurate diagnosis is key, our standardized evaluation process includes comprehensive outpatient assessments to determine the best course of treatment.

The St. Luke’s NPH Program provides a coordinated, multidisciplinary outpatient evaluation pathway. Patients begin with a physical therapy assessment, then are evaluated by neurology and neuropsychology NPH screening specialists. This approach helps determine whether additional evaluation or treatment for NPH is appropriate.

Whether you’re seeking answers or exploring surgical options, the St. Luke’s NPH Program helps restore function and improve quality of life with compassionate, evidence-based care. Please consult with your primary care provider for a referral.
