Licensed Master Social Worker
Nellie Carrillo, LMSW is a bilingual mental health therapist for St. Luke’s Children’s Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program. She has worked with adolescents and families in outpatient, school, and crisis settings. Nellie has worked with clients with a range of mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges and family relationship problems. Nellie is trained in using dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques and person-centered therapy modalities.
Nellie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work at Boise State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog.
