Alexandra Egland, DNP, CPNP- PC/AC specializes in orthopedic care for children. Her areas of interests include management of medically complex children with orthopedic issues, such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other genetic conditions. She also enjoys caring for children with scoliosis, hip deformities, and fracture care. She is an active member of the National Association for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Previously, Alexandra worked on the inpatient pediatric oncology floor as an registered nurse at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. Her career has always been in practicing medical care for children and she thoroughly enjoys being a part of their health journey. She approaches her patients and families with a compassionate interaction and comprehensive plan in care planning, treatments, and outcomes.
Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Gonzaga University, and her doctor of nursing practice as board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with dual degrees in pediatric primary and acute care from Creighton University. In her free time, Alexandra can be found trying new local restaurants, on the greenbelt with her dog, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, snowshoeing, and is an avid foodie.
