Jennifer Hosier, RD specializes in bariatric nutrition, supporting patients throughout their bariatric surgery experience by providing education prior to surgery and facilitating their progress during recovery and beyond. She takes a holistic approach to patient care, with attention to other aspects of lifestyle that can impact each patient's success, such as sleep hygiene, stress management, exercise, and social connections. She loves contributing to significant lifestyle changes that help improve her patients' health, happiness, and overall quality of life.
Jennifer also leads a bariatric surgery support group and teaches cooking and healthy living classes. She is grateful that these meetings give her opportunities to further support and build relationships with bariatric patients.
Prior to joining the bariatric nutrition team, Jennifer gained depth of experience working in a variety of hospital units, including medical/surgical, pediatrics, neonatal, cardiology, and oncology. She earned her bachelor's degree in nutrition at the University of Idaho.
In her free time, Jennifer spends as much time as possible with her husband and two kids, playing outside with their dog, relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying nature.
