Christopher T. Lawler, MD, CAQSM is board certified in emergency medicine and fellowship trained in sports medicine. He specializes in non-operative musculoskeletal injuries and fractures in adults and children, knee and shoulder injuries, and conservative management of osteoarthritis. He also treats athletes with conditions such as concussions, soft tissue injuries, skin disorders, and other sports-related conditions, and has a particular interest in sports injuries related to football, ice hockey, and gymnastics.
Dr. Lawler is active in St. Luke's Sports Medicine's outreach program, providing care to local sports organizations, high schools, and events. He serves as team physician for the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Stampede, Northwest Nazarene University, and Kuna High School. He previously served as team physician for the Boise Burn.In his free time, Dr. Lawler enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and daughters participating in water sports, snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting. He is also active with his daughters' sports teams as a volunteer and coach.
