About Gerardo M. Perez

Biography

Gerardo (Jerry) Perez, MD has clinical interest in cervical and endometrial cancer, vulvar cancer and melanoma, vaginal and ovarian cancer, dysplasia/hyperplasia, and gestational trophoblastic disease. 

His surgical specialties include:

  • Laparoscopic, open, and robotic (da Vinci®) surgeries
  • Laparoscopic and robotic (da Vinci) hysterectomies and staging procedures
  • Laparoscopic and robotic radical hysterectomies and staging procedures
  • Ovarian cancer cytoreductive surgery
  • Pelvic exenteration with bladder and neo-vagina reconstruction
  • Open, laparoscopic and robotic repair of failed pelvic floor reconstruction surgeries
  • Radical vulvectomy with myocutaneous flap reconstruction
  • Robotic myomectomy
  • Vaginal and rectovaginal fistula repairs
  • Neo-vagina reconstruction with grafts
