Misty Neisen, PA-C specializes in surgical oncology. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
Misty earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Boise State University and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University. She is an avid outdoors person, and loves biking, hiking, and rafting in Idaho with her family.
Taylor B. Turner, MD, MS is a gynecologic oncologist with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, chemotherapy, the genetic risks, and management of gynecologic cancers.
Prior to his medical education, Dr. Turner earned a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in genetics and biotechnology, both from Brigham Young University. He has published articles on the surgical management and the genetic and immunologic contributors to ovarian cancer. Also having published in the scientific literature on physician wellness, Dr. Turner has an active interest in burnout and wellness and serves on the St. Luke’s Treasure Valley Wellness Committee.
Dr. Turner has been awarded multiple teaching awards, including the Duke Appleseed Teaching award, and the UAB Medical Student and UAB Best Teaching Fellow awards. He continues to participate in medical education by teaching medical students through the WWAMI Medical Education Program and is a clinical faculty member of the University of Washington Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He is an active member in the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, serving on the Wellness Taskforce, the SGO Education Committee E-Learning Maintenance Group, and the SGO Practice Survey Taskforce. He was on the Program Committee that organized the 2020 SGO Annual Meeting.
Dr. Turner lives in Boise with his family and together they enjoy skiing, boating, and camping.
