Emily P.
Emily is a mentor for parents caring for a child with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. She also offers mentorship related to urology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and neurology care services.
I am the mother of a beautiful girl with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. I’m so lucky to be Ellie's guide in life! My experiences with the disability world in Idaho have flourished through medical, community, and state programs that have truly helped Ellie and so many others. It’s not about what she can’t do, but rather about all that she can accomplish.
Some of my areas of experience are wheelchair accessibility, special education, navigating multiple specialists and therapies, the Infant Toddler Program, and training for the transition into adulthood. I’m happy to help anyone along this great adventure!
